I could not cope the whole of my life with a bunch of murderers called the Syrian regime. I had to be practical and realistic because I needed weapons and facilities, because also I got weapons from the Soviet Union. It’s no secret. I do care about the independence of my country. I don’t want foreign bodies controlling my country. I don’t want foreign interference in my country. I don’t want either the Iranians or the Syrians occupying my country.
